Updated: Sep 22, 2020

The Maison Burlesque community is jam-packed with brilliant creatives who have not only made some gorgeous goods in their side hustles, they keep us all looking sparkly and glamourous!

Here's a list of some fabulous community members who have some epic goods to sell. Check em out and get yourselves decked out!

Now Serving Snacks

When COVID-19 left Melbourne p̶a̶r̶t̶y̶ ̶p̶a̶l̶s̶ business associates Ruby Slippers and Egson Ham out of a gig, they set up their overlockers and some Zoom meetings and got to work making the perfect bikini bottom to take slutty selfies in whilst in isolation - and the Quarankini was born! All of the treats in the Snack Bar are designed and made (separately, in isolation, in their own homes) by Ruby and Egs in Melbourne, Australia.

Megs Akimbo

Megs Akimbo is a name continuously murmured among the halls of Maison Burlesque. Where did you get those amazing high waisted undies? Megs Akimbo. Who made that bra? Megs Akimbo. Who gave you that tip on how to glue on crystals? Megs Akimbo.

Yup - she's the costumier to the burly stars and ensures our bums are glittery for class and stage! Plus she's added some epic face masks to her collection to keep you safe and sexy!

Winter Greene

Winter Greene is the jewellery to our nips. They know how to make one hefty pair of super sparkly hats for our nipples in any custom shape or size you need! Usually a small collection is housed in our Peacock Parlour, but you can order your very own custom pair just via DM on their instagram account.

TMC.JPG

She’s Frenchie to some, TMC.JPG to others and Pollybius to a few – but the creative master mind behind them all is Tara M. Cruz. You may recognise her work from the Maison Burlesque Cherry Popper's Showcase posters! Tara’s style is a mix of nostalgia and fun – fusing her love for 80s and 90s toys and cartoons with her fascination of the social expectations placed on women in society today.

From adorable illustrations to conceptual filmatic moments, this little lady can do it all. Follow her Instagram to see more of her work, and to commission custom portraits in her adorable cartoon aesthetic.

Picnic For Tea

What began as experiments in creating miniatures from clay has now become a successful handmade business that has been featured by the likes of Frankie Magazine, Adelaide Now and the City Magazine.

Each item has been lovingly handmade by with a focus on texture and scale, to create a realistic miniature replica. Each miniature is created from high quality Polymer Clay and high quality silver plated and/or surgical steel jewellery findings.

Mother's Disappointment

A one woman show creating polymer clay children and catastrophes in Melbourne, Mothers Disappointment was born from a hot and fast romance with a polymer clay hobby. One pair of earrings turned in to ten, and ten turned in to more dangly children than mother could have imagined. What to do with so many odd creatures sitting idly by? Adorn the ears of the fabulous of course!
